The number of introductions of control systems of projects in Russia in 2008 has grown in 1,5 times

Company PM Expert entering into group Armada, has summed up Internet interrogation Information control systems of projects – a choice of the Russian companies. The data received during interrogation, has allowed experts PM Expert to collect statistics of use of information control systems of projects (ISUP) the Russian business and to learn about principles by which the companies are guided at a choice of this or that system, to make full representation about current level of automation of design activity in commercial and official bodies of Russia, and also to define the basic prospects of development of the given direction.

According to analytical research, the quantity of introductions ISUP in Russia in 2008 in comparison with 2007 has grown in one and a half time, and in comparison with 2006 – more than in 3 times. Thus the Russian companies prefer to introduce and support systems independently. As to the overwhelming majority of respondennts (70 %) prefer decisions Microsoft Enterprise Project Management. On the basis of answers of respondents experts PM Expert have made the conclusion that use of information control systems by projects involves increase in quality indicators of work of the companies. The analysis of the data received during interrogation, also has revealed direct dependence between success of use ISUP and presence of standards and methodology of design management in the companies. The information control system of projects is the effective tool intended for automation of realisation of projects.

But its most effective use occurs only at understanding of methodology of design management, in the presence of the developed procedures, templates of documents etc. Interest to ISUP which has revealed the interrogation spent by us, speaks about readiness and desire of the companies of the Russian market to improve the design management, – has commented on results of interrogation the assistant to general director PM Expert.
