Russia billions have begun to flow from the real estate in solar power

The group of companies Konti can become the investor of mountwin-chemical industrial complex (GHK), the Krasnoyarsk region located in the city of Zheleznogorsk, the adviser of the general director of the enterprise has told CNews. Victor Gavrilov. At the moment GHK has the form of the federal state enterprise (FGUP) and there is in conducting state corporation a Rosatom. At the same time now in GHK there is a process akcionirovanijа on which termination of the action of the enterprise will pass companies Atomenergoprom (it is created in 2008 for the purpose of consolidation of the state actives in the field of atomic engineering, untied with a war industry). After that Atomenergoprom plans branch creation. The contribution of state corporation to its authorised capital, Gavrilov speaks, there are actions GHK, and group Konti will bring money resources (as the, and extra).

It is expected that Konti in total invests an order 9 mlrd and will receive an action controlling stock in the new company. For the purpose of the business plan statement before creditors the enterprise has reached with administration of Krasnoyarsk region of the arrangement on building LYeP dlinnoyu 70 km for electrical supply GHK and the next enterprises. In press-service Konti at the moment of publication preparation could not answer question CNews. Initially GHK it was created as underground nuclear factory on manufacture weapon plutona. In 90-s' years the enterprise has passed conversion and was reoriented on storage of the irradiated nuclear fuel, development thermal and the electric power, and also manufacture of monocrystal silicon.

In 2008 GHK has started an industrial line of polycrystalline silicon – both versions of silicon are used as raw materials at creation of solar photo cells. At the first stage capacity of a line makes 200 tons/years, the next 1,5 years it will be increased to 2 tys tons/years, and further, at the expense of attraction of means of investors – to 4 tys tons/years. The city of Zheleznogorsk can become one of the main centres of solar power of Russia. The market of solar power is considered perspective, showing 30 % annual growth. In 2008 its volume has made 5,6 MVt, during the current year the European photo-electric association is predicted this indicator at level 6,8MVt, in 2013 – 22,3MVt.

The most part of solar photo cells – 45,2 % - is made on a basis weed - also multicrystal silicon, and last years its deficiency in the market (polysilicon is used also in the semi-conductor industry) is observed.

By estimations Lehman Brothers, in 2007 the world it has been made 40 thousand tons of polysilicon at demand of 55 thousand tons, last year the given indicators have made 55 thousand tons and 65 thousand tons accordingly. However already in the near future the tendency will be replaced also the offer will exceed demand, for example, in 2012 the volume of output is expected at level of 245 thousand tons, and demand – only about 205 thousand tons. In the Soviet union there were some manufactures of polysilicon, but after reorganisation all of them have been closed. GHK became one of the first the Russian factories which have revived manufacture of given raw materials. Except it, last year polysilicon manufacture has been started companies Nitol-Solar in the Irkutsk region (now capacity makes 300 tons/years, by 2010 the exit on level of 3,8 thousand tons/years is expected). In the beginning of year Nitol has obtained from state corporation Rosnano the credit at a rate of 4,5 mlrd rub and guarantees under the credit of Alpha bank at a rate of 3 mlrd Belonging to corporation Renova – Orgsintez factory Himprom in Novocheboksarsk last year has begun line building on polysilicon manufacture, in 2011 its capacity should make 5 thousand tons/years, investments into the project are expected at level of 640 million euro. Himprom and Nitol make not only polysilicon, but also raw materials for it - trihlorsilan whereas GHK buys trihlorsilan from these enterprises. The group of companies Konti specialises on developmente, but the holding already has one active in the field of solar power – the enterprise the Solar wind making solar modules by total capacity 5MVt annually. Gavrilov from GHK hopes on sodanie in group Konti of the vertically-integrated structure (GHK will be responsible for raw materials, the Solar wind - for finished goods) which should raise a production efficiency. However, the basic commodity market will be abroad: as participants of forum Semicom Russia 2009 have converged, in the nearest some years without the state support serious demand for solar power in Russia will not appear.
