The world economic forum has let out the report on world trade stimulation (The Global Enabling Trade) in which basis the index of an openness of national economies (The Enabling Trade Index lies). The rating is calculated for 121 countries of the world, among them Russia has occupied only 109 place. In comparison with last year, position of Russia in a rating of an openness of economy has worsened: in the similar report for 2008 from 118 places it has occupied 103. The first three of the most open economy this year recognises Singapore, special administrative area of China Hong Kong and Switzerland.
In Top-10 Denmark, Sweden, Canada, Norway, Finland, Austria and the Neherlands also have entered. The position of Russia in the general rating is much worse, than at many former union republics and present partners.
So, Kirghizia – on 101st place, Kazakhstan – on 93rd, India – on 76th, Ukraine – on 71st. Still above indicators of Azerbaijan (70), Moldova (52) and China (49). More closed, than in Russia, economy only in Nepal, Bangladesh, Algeria, Mongolia, Zimbabwe, the Cat-d'ivuar and Chad. A trading index of Russia of 2009 (press to increase).

The index is formed on the basis of a complex estimation on several key indicators: a market openness (at Russia 113 place), administrative barriers (106), a business environment (96).

On the first positions on this indicator – Germany, the Netherlands, Singapore. Separately on parametres IKT Russia is on 50th place from 121, leaders here - Switzerland, Sweden, Germany, Denmark, Luxembourg.
On level penetration of technologies into the corporate environment at Russia 96th position, on level of penetration the Internet – 62nd.
Better affairs are with broadband access (57 place), installation of telephones (36) and penetration of a mobile communication (24). IKT - the unique sphere, in which Russia was possible to get to first half of rating table. All other categories demand considerable intervention, - is told in the report.
That fact that Russia has achieved progress in use IKT, is the positive note, - experts VYeF have concluded.
